COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

AS OF MARCH 13, 2020 AT 8:20pm

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim 1:7

In the spirit of this verse and as we seek to respond wisely as good neighbours to the COVID-19 situation, CPC is making the following protocols in respect of the recommendations of our Prime Minister, and Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer (Theresa Tam):

Effective immediately, all on-site activities, including Sunday Service will be suspended at our physical locations. We will have online Sunday services available this Sunday at 10:30am, at cpcorleans.ca . Supporting one another through this time shows the power of being a church family.

Please note that the Compassion Center (Food bank) will still be open as this is deemed an essential service to those in need.

We advise you to listen to medical professionals, with expertise and experience in the treatment and prevention of infectious disease. They have been most helpful and have also affirmed all our updated preventive measures as appropriate and adequate. Community Pentecostal Church will be in full compliance with their wisdom and recommendations.

Please make others who are part of our CPC family aware of our decision.
